Down the Brook

Part 3

This is the next part of the brook, which is a large swamp.  The picture below is taken just down-stream from the beaver pond.  The level is a few inches higher because of the broken dam.  It is an area of swamp grass.

This is a view from the end of the swamp.  It is taken from the highway.

This is the eastern side of the swamp.

I could not resist getting a close-up of a couple of boulders on the edge of the swamp!

I will get another set of pictures in the spring.
