The beaver pond

The beaver pond was originally part of "Down the brook" but this section of the brook is so beautiful that I am making a special section just for the brook.

The two pictures below were taken on December 28, 2010 at almost sunset.  It is cold.

The two pictures below were taken March 19, 2011.  There is still ice, but not as much as before.  Those things in the middle of the open water are ducks and geese.

A month later on April 21, 2011 the ice is gone.  There are some geese in the pond.
